From Marrakech: The First Introductory Presentation for the Saleh Kamel Islamic Economics Award

The General Secretariat of the Saleh Kamel Islamic Economics Award, represented by its Executive Secretary and the Business Development Manager at the AlBaraka Forum for Islamic Economy, Dr. Hesham Zaki, started its first international tour to introduce the award and its categories ahead of its official launch this year. This introductory presentation was part of the participation in the First International Forum on Maqasid Al-Shariah: Understanding, Activation, and Utilization, held at the Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech – Kingdom of Morocco, from February 21 to 23, 2025.

The forum attracted significant attendance from master and PhD students, as well as academic staff at the university. During the forum, the delivered presentation outlined the award’s objectives, organizational structure, categories, and value. Additionally, it was announced that the official launch date of the award will be this year.
